Description
Beneath the twinkling lights and neatly wrapped packages, lay bitter memories and carefully-kept secrets . . .
Three decades have passed since Marx last set foot in his family’s Georgia home. The house has faded over the years, but the haunting memories contained within its walls remain crisp and unforgettable.
If not for the girl asleep in the passenger’s seat of his car, Marx would turn his car around and head back to his life in New York City. But it’s time to face his demons.

Love the Holly Cross series. This book where Holly meets Marx parents is heartwarming mixed with suspense. Leaves you with a good feeling.

WOW!! Like just WOW! I was blown away by this series. It was suspenseful, inspiring, heart-stopping and adorable all at the same time. You go from terror, to laughter, to exasperation, to tears multiple times. The characters are so realistic and relatable. Holly, herself, is such a testimony to God’s power. She doubts sometimes, and questions His will, and is overcome by fear, but she always trusts Him! Her character challenged me! The first book was free and after reading it, I just had to buy the rest of the series. I’m gonna read this series multiple times and highly recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you, C.C. Warrens for this incredible series of books. I can’t wait to see what you do next! God bless!

This has been my favorite book with Holly Cross in it. I related so much to a book under 200 pages. The feeling of wanting an authentic Christmas or holiday. The family struggles. Even the little suspense we get in there! I love to see healing, and you know I was cheering for Holly (2 Cor 2:3-5). Also, the part with Bryce was so unexpected, but hit so close to my calling. You don’t see that in many books. Plus, the epilogue had me screaming like a school girl. Dont cross this book off. It is a must read!
