Gift a Book

Description

Sometimes we want the joy of gifting someone a book, but we have no book-lovers in our inner circle. Here, you can gift a book to another book-lover you may not know. Add a bookmark or even a sticker if you like. This idea is inspired by a reader who reached out and asked if she could do this for a stranger, and as it happened, I had a name for her. I love the brightness she added to another reader’s day. And the brightness she added to mine, because witnessing acts of kindness brings me joy.

How it works:

• You purchase the gift book.
  • Input your address and email. I will handle the shipping label address for your giftee.
• You can write a note that I will add to the shipment (anonymous or not, it’s your choice! If you provide your name, you might make a new friend!)
• I will check the wishlists of my readers (which are created here on my website) and choose one full-length book someone is longing for.
• I will email you their name, but their address and email will remain private.
• YOU will receive the shipping email and tracking email so you can keep tabs on your gift. The shipping email will reflect the address you put in at checkout, but I will ship it to your giftee.

This is just a way to spread a little kindness and love in a difficult world. If you want to purchase a specific book for a specific person, you’ll need to go to that book’s product page. Please message me with any questions or concerns!
